Mr. Jia Liming
Jia Liming Lao Shi earned his Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the Chinese department of Northeast Normal University, China. He has worked as a Chinese teacher in local primary and secondary schools in Singapore throughout his career.
He is passionate about cultivating reading habits, expression skills, and thinking ability in children from an early age. A firm believer in fostering learner independence in children, Jia Lao Shi believes that a teacher’s role is much broader than providing knowledge. More importantly, he believes a teacher should guide their students and ignite a genuine desire for learning in them.
Outside of being a well-experienced Chinese tutor in Singapore, he has also written several locally published children’s storybooks.

Mdm. Yu Hui
Yu Hui Lao Shi obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the Chinese department of Northeast Normal University, China.
She had been a Chinese teacher in local primary schools in Singapore for 17 years. During her tenure with the Ministry of Education (MOE), she has served in the capacities of a teacher of Higher Chinese, a PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination) oral examiner, and a composition paper assessor. Hence, she is well-versed in the PSLE exam process and requirements.
As one of our most competent Chinese tutors in Singapore, she is passionate about cultivating the joy of learning in children with the hope of opening a world of opportunities for them in their lifelong journey. She also firmly believes that learning is not only for exams, and reading is not only for grades but also for the children’s self-development.
